![]() Scanning for hardware changes, and running troubleshootersīelieve it or not, but what solved it for me was actually installing the MSI SCM software that is not even for this model.Īfter installing the software and restarting, the device popped up again and I was able to use the FN + F4 key once more to enable/disable the webcam.Installing the previous version of that software via the offline installer.Reinstalling MSI Dragon Center and MSI SDK.Things I tried before finding this solution It is missing in Device Manager, even if you view hidden devices (no imaging devices or cameras shown) The webcam becomes unavailable and no application can use it, even if you have it enabled in Dragon Center. I have myself had issues since the latest version of Dragon Center was released, along with the subsequent Windows Updates being installed as well.
